| Notes: Director: Steve Sekely; The movie is the story of two women who are courageous enough speak up against Hitler’s Nazi regime, and its treatment of women. For their trouble, the women get imprisoned and undergo a whole battery of torture and degradation. While the makers of the film had noble intentions I am sure, the movie and especially the promotional campaign as seen through the various posters is rife with exploitation scenes. It should come as no surprise then that the film was one of the most successful in Monogram’s history. |
